DIID began when designer Lotte van den Berg started hunting vintage bases and pairing them with handmade shades she crafted herself. What started as a passion became a small studio, then a brand loved across Europe.
Every shade is cut, fitted and finished by hand. The bases are found — vintage glass demijohns, antique stoneware, woven rattan — each with its own history. We add the light.
From Delft to Dawn. That is what we make.
